Yesterday I took the plunge and had Emma's hair cut into a chin length bob. I figured she never kept the ponytails or barettes in anyway so what is the point of having it long and scraggly looking. I should have done it months ago. The picture doesn't do it justice but trust me, it is an adorable look on her. Very impish.

I don't think Paul and Sarah have to worry much about defending thier place as Supreme Scrabblers of the Universe as of yet but my boys are starting to catch the vision. It was a fun afternoon and I was amazed how long they were willing to keep at it. Every once in a while I just had to help out and put a long word down. The board gets cramped awfully fast when a four tile word is the maximum...
Yesterday evening John and I took a ride on the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train. We won the tickets at last year's UW Emergency Department christmas party and decided my birthday would be a great time to cash them in.
