All Dogs Go to Heaven

At least let us hope that is true for this poor mutt. We came across him on one of our runs. After seeing the photo it occurs to me that I probably should not be smiling. My apologies Aunt Betsy.

More of the scenery. I have yet to make it to the part of New Orleans that was hardest hit. I am hoping to catch a glimpse before we leave.
We've been here long enough that people have started to do things like decorate for Halloween. Rachel told me that Chase is sad that I will not be home to carve pumpkins. He was apparently skeptical of Mom's ability to help with the jack-o-lanterns. Word on the street here is that we will be home for Thanksgiving. A cause for thanks indeed!
