The famous Chef Paul Prudhomme stopped by and fed us all an authentic Cajun meal last night, complete with Zydeco music. It was good, I gear-un-tee! (That was for my Dad). I also got his autograph. A few more pictures from this adventure follow. More later.
The morning we met in Fort Hood to roll out we manifested in a large sports bar. I'm sitting here with John Pease, a friend and classmate from residency.

We eat out on the loading dock. No food whatsoever allowed in the sleeping area lest the cockroaches fill the measure of their creation in our sleeping bags.
